Edge of the Woods is proud to announce that we now carry the award-winning Daiya Cheese, which just began its retail launch last month. Available now are the Cheddar and Mozzerella styles, for just $5.69 a bag. Try the vegan cheese that has swept the interest of magazines like Vegetarian Resource Journal, VegNews and Vegetarian Cooking!

And coming soon, the Daiya company will open a Kosher factory, enabling us to use it with pizza! Get acquainted today.

Haiti Emergency Relief Wishlist

Dear Friends & Patrons,
Friends of Haiti is going to send a truckload of supplies to the Haiti Disaster Victims. We have a team of around 20 Americans and 30 to 50 Haitian volunteers already in Port au Prince. We are providing hot food for neighboring people from both schools and have a medical team working in the surrounding areas of one school. We have also organized a supply link via boat from Miami and the Dominican Republic, and from the Dominican Republic to Port Au Prince by truck. You will be seeing a 16-foot pod in the front of the store which will be our temporary storage area.

A tantalizing seasoning and condiment made from sea salt, raw organic walnuts, Red Star nutritional yeast and love in the original flavor, and a chipotle cayenne variety that adds Organic Cayenne, Onion, and Chipotle to the recipe. Edge of the Woods will be closed on Thursday, November 26th for Thanksgiving. We will be keeping regular business hours - 8:30 AM to 7:30 PM - on Wednesday the 25th and Friday the 27th.

All of our homemade pies will be available until then for just 12.95. If you wish to special-order anything for the holidays, please do so as soon as possible. The cut-off date for special orders will be Monday, November 23rd. We will have pumpkin and pecan pies available, as well as many of our usual favorites, with a wide variety of Vegan options as well.

Mantra Meditation Workshop

This Sunday, November 15th at 6:30 PM, Edge of the Woods will be hosting an Introductory Workshop to Mantra Meditation, taught by Dada Pranakrsnananda, a teacher with 36 years of experience teaching Astaunga Yoga.

Admission will be by donation. These workshops happen on a regular basis on the 3rd Sunday of every month, unless otherwise indicated.

Between the hot bar, and the almost two dozen deli dishes, we provide a full complement of flavor and nutrition.
