Haiti Emergency Relief Wishlist

Dear Friends & Patrons,
Friends of Haiti is going to send a truckload of supplies to the Haiti Disaster Victims. We have a team of around 20 Americans and 30 to 50 Haitian volunteers already in Port au Prince. We are providing hot food for neighboring people from both schools and have a medical team working in the surrounding areas of one school. We have also organized a supply link via boat from Miami and the Dominican Republic, and from the Dominican Republic to Port Au Prince by truck. You will be seeing a 16-foot pod in the front of the store which will be our temporary storage area.

Items we are requesting to be donated are:
NON-FOOD ITEMS: (Non-food items need not be new,
Blankets but must be in good shape.)
Sheets
Tarps
Rope
Tents
Folding Yard Chairs
Children’s Shoes
Flashlights
Water Testing Kits
Work Masks
Buckets
Kitchen Supplies (Utensils, Pots, Pans, Cups)
Sports Equipment
Arts Supplies

Tools (Shovels, Pickaxes)

FOOD ITEMS:
Baby Formula
Protein Powder
Milk Powder
Vitamins
Baby Cereal
Nuts, Dried Fruit, Energy Bars, etc.

MEDICAL SUPPLIES:
Bandages, First Aid, Antibiotics, Soap, Hand Sanitizers

  1. Ok. I'm a water fish tank owner so when I talk about fish tank water testing it is in the context of water tanks. Most fish tank stores will analyze water for you, and that is great when you first start out but very quickly you will need to be able to analyze your own water and analyze it as accurately as possible.
